Setting Out Engineer Bicester, OX25 | £320 per day | 18 to 24 months We are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a specialist contractor delivering fencing works on a major, long-term infrastructure project in the Bicester area. This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer looking for stability and continuity, with an anticipated 18 to 24 months of work available on the project. You will work closely with the site delivery team and take responsibility for setting out fencing works, maintaining accurate engineering records and ensuring works are completed in accordance with the approved design and quality requirements. The role Your responsibilities will include: • Setting out fence posts, boundaries, lines and levels • Establishing and maintaining site control points • Setting out accurately from engineering drawings and specifications • Producing red line and as-built drawings • Completing QA records, check sheets and associated documentation • Checking completed works against approved drawings and designs • Identifying and reporting discrepancies or technical issues • Liaising with supervisors, site management and the wider project team • Maintaining accurate and organised engineering records throughout the works What we are looking for • Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer • Strong civils or infrastructure experience • Competent using GPS and total station equipment • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings • Experience producing red line and as-built drawings • Good understanding of QA procedures and engineering documentation • Valid CSCS card • Full right to work in the UK Contract details Rate: £320 per day Location: Bicester, OX25 Duration: 18 to 24 months Parking: Available on site If you are an experienced Setting Out Engineer looking for a long-term project in the Bicester area, please apply with your CV and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity
