Position: 1 x Lift Supervisor Rate: £27.50 per hour (CIS) Location: IP17 1UT Start Date: 02/11/26 Job Overview We are currently looking for an experienced Lift Supervisor to join our team on a construction project. The successful candidate must have relevant lifting operations experience, hold a valid CPCS card and have a valid SSSTS qualification. Key Responsibilities * Supervise lifting operations on site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently. * Ensure lifting operations are conducted in accordance with the lift plan, risk assessments and method statements. * Coordinate with crane operators, appointed persons, slingers/signallers and site management. * Ensure all lifting equipment is suitable, inspected and used correctly. * Monitor site conditions and ensure exclusion zones are maintained. * Ensure compliance with site health and safety procedures. * Attend site briefings and communicate lifting requirements clearly to the workforce. * Stop any unsafe lifting operation and report concerns to site management. Essential Requirements * Valid CPCS Lift Supervisor card – essential. * Valid SSSTS qualification – essential. * Previous experience supervising lifting operations on construction sites. * Good understanding of lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements. * Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills. * Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety
