About the role
We are recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Plumber to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across residential properties and communal areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a plumber looking for a long-term position, starting with a 12-week temporary period and the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
Carry out domestic plumbing repairs, including leaking pipes, taps, toilets and plumbing fixtures.
Diagnose faults and complete responsive maintenance work.
Assist with carpentry, tiling, masonry and general repairs where competent.
Complete work safely, efficiently and to a professional standard.
Communicate with residents and provide excellent customer service.
Update job records, timesheets and material usage using a smartphone or tablet.
Maintain van stock, tools and equipment.
Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required.
Requirements
Proven domestic plumbing and property maintenance experience.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent time-served experience.
Additional trade skills are desirable.
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to undertake a Basic DBS check.
