Part-Time Warehouse & Stock Assistant – Temp to Perm £13.45 per hour 16 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am–12pm or 9am–1pm, depending on requirements We are recruiting for a Part-Time Warehouse & Stock Assistant to join a well-established business in the vending and workplace refreshments industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in keeping a warehouse clean, organised and running smoothly. The role will initially be temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person. The Role This is a standalone position where you will take responsibility for day-to-day warehouse duties, supporting the field-based team by ensuring stock is picked, prepared and ready for their requirements. Your week will be split between preparing stock orders and managing incoming deliveries, so organisation, accuracy and reliability are essential. Key Responsibilities * Pick and prepare stock on Mondays and Tuesdays based on the individual requirements of each field team member * Receive and unload incoming deliveries and pallets * Check deliveries and ensure stock is accounted for * Put stock away in the correct locations * Use an iPad-based inventory system to record and manage stock * Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised * Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse procedures are followed * Work independently and manage daily tasks effectively About You The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous warehouse, stock control or goods-in experience * Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail * The ability to work independently and use their initiative * Basic IT skills and confidence using an iPad or stock management system * A reliable and practical approach to work * The ability to carry out manual handling duties, including unloading pallets * A good understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean and safe working environment Why Apply? * £13.45 per hour * Part-time hours, ideal for someone looking for a better work-life balance * A consistent four-day working week, with Wednesdays and weekends off * Early finish every working day * Opportunity to secure a permanent position * A varied role with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse If you are organised, reliable and looking for a part-time warehouse position with the potential to become permanent, apply today with your CV
