Aspire People is recruiting Physics specialists for secondary schools across East Birmingham, with teaching opportunities available from Monday 2 November and throughout the remainder of the academic year. Physics teachers are particularly valuable to the secondary schools we support, and we're keen to connect with specialists who can confidently teach GCSE Physics while also delivering general Science across KS3. If you're based around Small Heath, Bordesley Green, Yardley, Stechford, Washwood Heath or surrounding areas, we would be interested in discussing opportunities that could reduce your commute and offer greater flexibility. WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE? We recruit for daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term Physics teaching positions, alongside potential permanent opportunities. Depending on your experience and the school's requirements, assignments may involve teaching general Science across KS3, GCSE Physics and Combined Science at KS4, or A Level Physics at KS5. Longer-term positions may include lesson planning, marking, assessment, practical investigations and supporting pupils with their GCSE and A Level examination preparation. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Physics subject knowledge and the ability to deliver clear, engaging lessons across the secondary age range. We're particularly interested in teachers who can make challenging scientific concepts accessible, maintain effective classroom routines and encourage pupils to develop confidence in Physics.
