Working alongside experienced tax specialists, you will advise clients across a variety of financial services businesses, helping them navigate complex UK indirect tax issues, manage risk, and identify opportunities for improved tax efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Advising financial services clients on UK VAT and indirect tax matters.
• Supporting the delivery of complex advisory projects and technical reviews.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser on indirect tax issues.
• Assisting clients with VAT risk management, governance, and compliance obligations.
• Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth within existing client relationships.
• Coaching and mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborating with colleagues across tax and wider advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Professionally qualified CTA and/or ACA.
• Strong UK indirect tax experience, ideally gained within a professional services, consulting, or in-house tax environment.
• Sound technical knowledge of UK VAT and indirect tax legislation.
• Experience advising clients within the Financial Services sector is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong indirect tax experience and a genuine interest in the sector will also be considered.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrable ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality client service.
• Ambitious, commercially minded, and keen to develop their career within a growing specialist team.
