Part-Time Teacher (Y2)

• Salary: £174.71 - £223.23 per day

We are seeking a Part-Time Teacher to join our team in a job-share capacity, teaching a year 2 class This role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Collaborate with another part-time teacher to ensure continuity and coherence in the curriculum and teaching methods.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning outcomes.
• Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their children's progress and any relevant school matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching at the KS1 level.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a job-share arrangement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
