Tenbury Dental Practice is looking for an enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our welcoming four-surgery practice on a maternity cover contract. You'll work alongside a variety of dentists and hygienists, build strong relationships with patients and colleagues, and broaden your experience in a predominantly private practice.

The best bit? You'll work Monday to Thursday, leaving your Fridays free! Whether that's a long weekend, family time or simply a well-earned lie-in, it's a pretty lovely way to organise your working week.

What Will You Be Doing?

As our Dental Nurse, you'll help keep the practice running smoothly while ensuring every patient receives excellent care.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists.
• Preparing surgeries and maintaining clinical equipment.
• Carrying out decontamination duties and following infection prevention procedures.
• Supporting high standards of safety, cleanliness and compliance.
• Helping patients feel relaxed and reassured throughout their appointments.
• Working collaboratively with different clinicians to deliver a positive patient experience.

Your Working Week

• Hours: 32 per week.
• Days: Monday to Thursday.
• Working hours: 8:30am–5:30pm.
• Contract: Maternity cover until 31 December 2027, with the possibility of a longer-term opportunity.

Although this Dental Nurse position is initially maternity cover, there may be scope to stay with the practice beyond the contract, depending on future business needs.

We're also exploring ways to expand our clinical offering, potentially creating future training opportunities in areas such as sedation and specialist root canal treatments.
