We are looking for energetic, outgoing people to join our team as Group Leaders at our Dobroyd Castle centre. What you will be doing as a Group Leader: Over a 3-day residential course, you will lead a group of key stage 2 children through a range of fun, adventure and themed activities. But it’s more than that, you will: * Build confidence in children aged 7–11 * Encourage teamwork and resilience * Bring sessions to life through storytelling and energy No two days are the same, and the impact you make is real. What you will get: * £13.45 per hour (increasing to £13.85 per hour following successful completion of your 6-month probation period) Plus: * Paid Breaks * Permanent, year-round contract * Free meals on shift * Profit-related tax-free bonus * House purchase assistance scheme * 12 weeks off a year (including August and Christmas) All Group Leaders start on a 4-day working week (30 HPW) Having completed your probation there are opportunities to gain further responsibilities and pay increments. You can also move to working either a 3-day week or a 5-day week, subject to availability at your centre. We use an annualised hours system to ensure that you receive a consistent monthly wage, regardless of differences in your monthly work hours. As a Real Living Wage Employer, our starting pay rates increase in May each year in line with the Real Living Wage increase. Training & Development No prior instructor experience needed, we will train you. Gain nationally recognised qualifications in: * Archery * First Aid * Paddle Sports * Climbing …plus a catalogue of courses available, including Autism Awareness, Child Mental Health Training and many more.
