We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide short-term support to a busy HR team during a period of increased casework. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employee relations and be confident managing a varied caseload while providing pragmatic, compliant advice to managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance, capability and flexible working matters
• Provide timely advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
• Support and advise on formal meetings, investigations and hearings
• Prepare and review employee relations documentation, outcome letters and case records
• Ensure cases are managed in line with internal policies and employment law requirements
• Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to provide a high-quality HR service
• Maintain accurate and confidential records throughout the employee lifecycle

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience working in an Employee Relations Advisor or HR Advisor role
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Experience managing a high-volume employee relations caseload
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience desirable

Rate: £20 per hour

Length: 6-week contract

Working pattern: Fully remote
