Robert Half is partnering with a leading UK sustainability business to recruit a Finance Business Partner. You'll work side by side with operational and commercial leaders on the decisions that matter, in a role with real visibility and influence.

• Bicester (Hybrid working - 2 days onsite per week, with occasional travel to other sites)
• £60,000 + £6,500 car allowance + performance bonus

The role

You'll partner with site operations, commercial teams and senior management, making sure they understand how the business is performing against targets and which levers they can pull to improve it. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing insightful business partnering on EBITDA, operating cash flow and capex
• Producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and investment appraisals to agreed timetables
• Presenting financial information to finance and non-finance colleagues
• Upholding the accuracy and integrity of financial information, with strong controls and governance
• Identifying risks and opportunities, and working with senior stakeholders to deliver results
• Evaluating projects and capital expenditure, including post-project appraisals
• Supporting wider consolidated analysis and reporting across the group

About you

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or actively studying and close to qualifying
• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Strong management accounting and business analysis skills
• Advanced Excel, with Power BI experience highly desirable
• Commercial experience, with a track record of building strong relationships with non-finance managers and budget holders
• A confident communicator who can influence and challenge the business
• Experience of capex, investment appraisal and large, matrixed organisations is desirable
• Full driving licence, with travel to site 2 days per week and occasional travel to other locations
