You'll be joining an established highways contractor delivering works across the strategic road network. The business operates within a Tier 1 contracting environment, with a strong focus on self-delivery.

Your new role
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the successful delivery of highways works across Area 6.

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of highways projects
• Lead and manage operational teams across multiple work streams
• Manage projects from planning through to completion
• Oversee programme, health & safety, quality and commercial performance
• Coordinate resources to ensure effective self-delivery
• Manage client and key stakeholder relationships
• Monitor progress, programme, risks and project performance
• Work closely with commercial and operational teams throughout delivery
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards

What you'll need to succeed

• HND/HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline
• Proven experience managing large-scale highways or civil engineering projects
• Previous highways, civils and drainage experience is essential
• Experience working within a Tier 1 contracting environment
• Strong understanding of self-delivery
• National Highways experience
• Strong programme, commercial and stakeholder management skills
