  • Visiting client premises on occasion to carry out on-site bookkeeping where needed
  • Delivering Xero training and guidance to clients
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks as the role evolves
What We're Looking For
  • Solid, recent experience in bookkeeping, including VAT return preparation and submission, and control account reconciliation
  • At least two to three years of experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • Strong, confident working knowledge of Xero (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in client-facing situations
  • Strong organisational ability, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, diligent approach to your work
  • Comfortable working independently and using your own initiative
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience preparing management accounts (training will be provided for the right candidate)
  • Familiarity with Xero Reporting, Briefcase, Concur, Expensify, or Fathom
  • Exposure to a variety of client industries and business types within a practice setting
