Stores and Stock Coordinator

Location: Carlisle
Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) 3months confirmed but can be up to 9-12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)

The Role

We are recruiting for a keen hands on Stores and Stock Coordinator to join a busy and supportive team in Carlisle. This is a varied position combining stores, warehouse and purchasing support responsibilities.

This role would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment, is organised, and is comfortable using computer systems while also carrying out practical warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing deliveries
• Booking stock and goods into the company system
• Allocating items to the correct stock locations
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
• Maintaining a tidy and organised stores environment
• Monitoring and tracking outstanding deliveries
• Liaising with suppliers via email and telephone
• Supporting day-to-day operational and purchasing activities
• Carrying out general administrative tasks as required

About You

• Previous warehouse, stores or stock control experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using computer systems and learning new processes
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and proactive approach to work
• Able to undertake some physical duties, including moving stock and working across different areas of the site
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
