SRM have been instructed by a East London based business to hire a Part-Qualified Financial Accountant on a 12-Month fixed-term-contract.

What you’ll do

• Support the monthly close for assigned Group entities: revenue, billing, receivables, accruals, payables and GRNI
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules, including customer and supplier balances
• Investigate billing queries, aged receivables and reconciling items, working with Billing, Commercial, AP and Procurement
• Build audit-ready working papers and help respond to auditor queries
• Contribute to monthly reporting packs, including variance commentary
• Help document processes and controls as workstreams move into business-as-usual

About you

• Part-qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) and working towards completion
• Previous experience in a financial accounting or financial control role
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with high-volume data
• Working knowledge of IFRS, with an interest in developing your technical accounting
