4 days in the office per week, and 1 from home

Are you looking to build your career in finance with a well-established and successful financial institution in the heart of the City? We're seeking a proactive Senior Finance Assistant to support across the whole of the finance and operations function. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain broad exposure across finance operations while developing your skills within a collaborative and professional environment within a small close knit team. We are looking for candidates who are keen to take ownership of the department, and excited to implement processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing invoices, payments and account reconciliations.
• Supporting monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support cashflow monitoring, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support VAT returns, compliance tasks and statutory filing requirements.
• Assisting with audits and compliance activities.
• Liaising with colleagues across the business to support day-to-day finance operations.

About You

• Degree or qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience within a finance or accounts role.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, reliable with a positive working attitude.
• A strong team player, who is also able to work autonomously.
