A rare and exciting new opportunity is available for an ATA Carnet Branch Officer working within the Trade Documentation Team.

• Hybrid role working 3 days per week based in a Hayes location and 2 days per week working from home.
• Training and occasional cover will be required based in London.
• The starting salary is set at £32k, rising to £35k and then again to £39k within the first year of employment; increases are based on performance.

The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Trade Documentation, the ATA Carnet Branch Officer will be an in-house specialist, assisting our customer with queries, challenges and providing support in our customer’s office, ensuring we deliver the best service possible.

Key responsibilities

• Check, certify and issue ATA Carnets
• Administration and discharging of ATA Carnets
• Deal with customer enquiries by phone, e-mail and face-to-face. To be recognised as the go-to contact for the customer
• To liaise with customs on issues on behalf of our customer regarding issues with inbound/outbound travels
• To learn, understand and be able to issue Certificates of Origin
• Archiving of ATA Carnets

Additional Duties

• Represent the Trade Documentation Team at Internal and some External Events held and other partner Organisations
• Identify potential members and pass leads on to the membership team

• Previous experience of International Trade Documentation or more specifically, ATA Carnets

Knowledge & Experience

• As well as all of the above candidates must have a satisfactory level of education
• Experience of Trade Documentation is preferred but not essential
