Job Title: General Construction Labourer

Location: Dorking, Surrey (RH4 / RH5)

Start Date: Late October 2026

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About the Role

We are recruiting a reliable, hard-working General Labourer for an upcoming position on a commercial build in Dorking, starting towards the end of October 2026.

This role offers steady full-time hours, consistent weekly pay, and long-term work through the autumn and winter months with an established contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades and sub-contractors with day-to-day work.

• Offloading material deliveries and stocking work areas across site safely.

• Keeping walkways, stairwells, and access routes clear, safe, and hazard-free.

• Sweeping, managing waste disposal, and keeping site recycling skips clear.

• Strictly adhering to site health & safety rules and wearing full PPE.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).

• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and safety gloves).

• Previous general site labouring experience.

• Hard-working, punctual, and reliable.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

• Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).

• Start Date: End of October 2026.

• Duration: Ongoing long-term work.

• Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
