People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead, delivering bathroom products to commercial and residential premises.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £15.79 per hour, 9.6 hours' guaranteed daily pay, Monday-to-Friday shifts, overtime opportunities, ongoing work and two weeks of training alongside experienced staff.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, Category C1 Driver, 7.5t Delivery Driver or Multi-Drop Delivery Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 start time
• Approximately 8–10 hours per shift
• Minimum of 9.6 hours' pay guaranteed each day

Rates of Pay

• £15.79 per hour
• Overtime available
• Minimum of 9.6 hours' pay guaranteed per day

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Delivering bathroom products to commercial and residential premises
• Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Using a pump truck to move goods where required
• Using a sack barrow to assist with deliveries
• Undertaking manual handling duties when required
• Providing a professional service to customers at delivery locations

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

• Minimum of 24 months' experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles
• Valid UK Category C1 or Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 endorsement codes
• No major driving endorsements
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties when required
