Mechanical Fitter – Heathrow Airport Location: Heathrow Airport Pay: £27.68 per hour PAYE Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm Start Date: 19th October 2026 Project Duration: 2 years Employment: PAYE We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters to join a major 2-year installation project at Heathrow Airport, starting 19th October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Mechanical Fitters looking for long-term, stable work on a large-scale airport project. Key Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter * Previous conveyor installation experience is essential * CSCS Card required * Relevant mechanical qualifications * Ability to read and work from technical drawings * Good understanding of mechanical installation and site safety * Reliable and able to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm * Must be able to provide a 5-year UK checkable history to obtain the required Heathrow airside pass The Role You will be working as part of a team installing automation systems at Heathrow Airport. Duties will include mechanical assembly, installation, alignment and fitting of conveyor equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standard. Interested?
