Site Manager Location: Fakenham, Norfolk Role: Site Manager Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Company Car + Benefits Start: ASAP About the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a reputable East Anglian residential developer delivering a high-quality housing development in Norfolk. This prestigious scheme consists of 19 units, with six already successfully handed over. The successful candidate will take ownership of the QA and finishing stages of the build, ensuring exceptional quality standards are maintained through to completion and customer handover. The project is anticipated to run until May/June 2027, with a strong pipeline of future developments available within a 45-minute to 1-hour radius of the site, providing long-term career stability and progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site activities during the final phases of construction. Drive quality assurance and quality control processes across all plots. Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are completed to the highest standards and in line with drawings, specifications and NHBC requirements. Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure programme targets and deadlines are achieved. Oversee snagging and de-snagging processes, ensuring all defects are addressed promptly. Manage plot completions and customer handovers. Maintain excellent standards of health and safety across site. Liaise with technical, commercial and customer care teams throughout the completion process. Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to senior management. Ensure materials, labour and resources are effectively managed to maintain productivity and programme requirements. Promote a positive site culture focused on quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager, Finishing and QA within residential new build construction. Strong background delivering high-quality housing developments. Experience managing finishing trades, snagging, plot inspections and customer handovers. Excellent eye for detail and commitment to quality. Good understanding of NHBC standards and residential build processes. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme delivery. Strong organisational and communication skills. CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certification essential. Full UK Driving Licence required. What's on Offer? Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 DOE.
