Are you a passionate and qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible work opportunities in South West London?

Veritas Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare Practitioners to work across a variety of friendly and supportive nursery settings in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for full-time work, a few days a week or occasional shifts to fit around other commitments, we have flexible daily supply opportunities to suit your availability.

You'll also have the opportunity to work in different nursery environments, develop your skills and build valuable relationships with a range of Early Years teams.

The Role

Working with children aged 0-5, you'll play an important role in supporting their learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a safe, engaging and nurturing environment in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and supporting fun, engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.

• Promoting children's social, emotional, physical and communication development.

• Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.

• Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.

• Observing and responding to children's individual needs and interests.

• Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality childcare and early education.

• Maintaining safeguarding standards and following nursery policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from motivated and experienced practitioners who are passionate about providing high-quality childcare and supporting children's early development.

To be considered, you'll need:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential).

• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.

• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
