Housekeeper | Bank / Zero-Hours | Spire Clare Park Hospital, Farnham Spire Clare Park Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our experienced and supportive housekeeping team on a Bank, zero-hours basis. Spire Clare Park is a modern elective hospital in Farnham, rated Good by the CQC, providing a wide range of surgical and diagnostic services including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology and ENT, supported by state-of-the-art imaging facilities. About the Role As a Bank Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. Working on a flexible, ad hoc basis, you will help support the housekeeping team during busy periods, annual leave, and staff absences. Key Responsibilities Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital in line with infection control and housekeeping policies. Complete cleaning schedules to ensure patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces are ready for use. Work closely with the Senior Housekeeper and report issues promptly. Liaise with clinical teams to support the day-to-day needs of the hospital. Maintain cleaning equipment and report faults or supply shortages. Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, moving and handling, and confidentiality requirements. Ensure a professional and positive experience for patients and visitors. Who We're Looking For Previous experience in a housekeeping, hospitality, domestic, or customer-facing role. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues. A professional appearance and approach suited to a healthcare environment. Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
