Customer Service Advisor

• Location: Outskirts of Carnforth (Access to own vehicle required)
• Job Type: Temporary (Approx. 4 weeks)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are currently seeking two Customer Service Advisors for a temporary assignment in a busy and friendly team located on the outskirts of Carnforth. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills who thrive in customer service environments and are capable of delivering a positive experience over the telephone.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Make outbound calls to customers following registration or sign-up.
• Provide a professional and friendly introduction to the service.
• Confirm customer details and complete relevant verification checks.
• Ensure customers fully understand the service or commitment they have signed up to.
• Identify and record customer queries, concerns, and requests.
• Accurately update records and maintain detailed call notes.
• Escalate concerns in line with company procedures where required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every interaction.
• Follow all compliance, data protection, and company processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, administration or telephone-based roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Professional and confident telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using computer systems and updating records.
• Able to follow processes whilst maintaining natural conversations.
• Empathetic, patient, and able to build rapport with a wide range of people.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location of the office.
• Available to commit to the full temporary assignment.
