A busy law firm in Hatfield is looking for a proactive Legal Secretary to support its team, with a preference for candidates who have experience in conveyancing. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where organisation, initiative and excellent client service are essential.

The role

• Provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to the legal team
• Assist with conveyancing matters and related documentation
• Handle incoming calls and support telephone cover
• Manage correspondence, maintain records and assist with general office administration
• Help ensure the smooth running of the department

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within conveyancing
• Candidates with litigation or probate experience will also be considered
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities

What’s on offer?

• £25,000–£30,000, depending on experience
• Full-time, office-based role in Hatfield
