As a Bookkeeper (Accounts Payable) professional, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day processing of invoices and payments, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. Based in Cranleigh.

Description

• Daily processing of all project purchase invoices / credit in SAGE 200 ERP system
• Monitor and maintain the accounts inbox providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Processing monthly credit card with compliance checks
• Partnering with supply chain team to maintain stock on ERP
• Ad-hoc reporting and data analysis
• Maintenance and improvements to our PO approval system
• Staff expenses
• Payment run and treasury management
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Assisting business partners in key month close processes such as accruals, prepayments and other balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, VAT compliance

Profile

• Accountancy qualification (AAT Level 3 or equivalent)
• Good understanding of double entry concepts
• Minimum 2 year in a similar role
• Excellent excel / Microsoft office / 365
• Sage 200 (desirable) or other ERP equivalent
• High attention to detail
• Organised
• Ability to work off own initiative
• UK VAT knowledge
