We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established business based in central Cardiff.This is a busy, hands-on transactional finance position, ideal for someone with previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities:

• Matching, checking and coding supplier invoices
• Processing invoices.
• Completing supplier statement reconciliations
• Setting up new supplier accounts
• Maintaining accurate invoice records and filing
• Responding to supplier and customer queries
• Liaising with colleagues across other locations
• Answering telephone queries
• Supporting with additional finance and administrative duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• You will ideally have previous experience within Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or a similar transactional finance role. You'll be organised, accurate and comfortable managing a high volume of invoices while communicating confidently with suppliers and internal teams.
