We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Assembly Operative to join a growing manufacturing team in Leighton Buzzard. This role would suit someone with experience in furniture assembly, joinery, cabinet making or a similar hands-on manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have good practical skills, strong attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work. Key Responsibilities * Assemble products and components to the required specifications. * Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively. * Follow instructions and technical drawings. * Measure, fit and align components accurately. * Check finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. * Maintain a clean and organised working environment. * Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines. Skills and Experience Required * Previous experience in assembly, joinery, cabinet making or a similar role. * Good practical skills and experience using hand tools. * Experience using workshop machinery would be an advantage. * Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Ability to follow instructions and work accurately. * Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team. Working Hours * Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:45pm * Friday: 7:30am–4:00pm * Morning break: 10:30am–10:45am * Lunch break: 1:30pm–2:00pm What We Offer * Competitive pay of £13–£18 per hour, depending on experience. * Temporary-to-permanent opportunity. * Full-time, ongoing work. * The opportunity to develop your skills within a manufacturing environment.
