Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to patients on the ward. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments in line with prescribed guidelines. Monitor patient observations and recognise signs of clinical deterioration. Undertake clinical assessments and escalate concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate patient notes and clinical documentation. Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team. Support patients with their physical and emotional wellbeing. Maintain infection prevention and control standards. Promote patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times
