Air Conditioning Engineer – Aberdeen Salary: £42,500 per annum Location: Aberdeen / Mobile Permanent | Full-Time We’re recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a mobile engineering team covering commercial sites across the Aberdeen area. This is a hands-on maintenance role covering both planned and reactive works, with responsibility for fault finding, repairs and ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard. You’ll be working independently across a mobile portfolio while having the support of a wider engineering and planning team. What you’ll be doing * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites * Servicing, maintaining and fault finding on Air Conditioning and HVAC systems * Diagnosing equipment faults and completing repairs * Working towards a high first-time-fix rate and minimising equipment downtime * Ordering and fitting replacement parts and components where required * Completing work orders accurately and within agreed SLA timescales * Carrying out relevant checks, surveys and technical reports * Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety requirements * Liaising with customers and site teams in a professional manner * Supporting other engineers and apprentices where required * Participating in the on-call rota What we’re looking for * Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong maintenance background * Recognised HVAC / Air Conditioning qualification * Good knowledge of commercial HVAC systems * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Experience working within commercial or FM environments * Able to manage a mobile workload and work without supervision * Comfortable working in customer-facing environments * Full UK driving licence * F-Gas qualification Package * £42,500 per annum * Door to door travel * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Contributory pension with matched contributions up to 6% * Life assurance * Gym discounts * Training and development opportunities * Mobile role covering the Aberdeen area * On-call rota – maximum 1 in 4 This would be a good opportunity for an experienced AC Engineer looking for a stable mobile role with a strong basic salary and the opportunity to work across a varied commercial portfolio.
