THE ROLE

This is a field-based specification sales position focused on increasing brand awareness, developing relationships and generating new business across Central London, with particular emphasis on North and West London.

You will engage with architects, interior designers, Design & Build companies, Fit-Out contractors, specialist installers and end-user clients, influencing product selection and converting opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

You will take ownership of your territory, pipeline and commercial performance, supported by an established Central London showroom in Clerkenwell and an experienced, collaborative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Increase brand awareness and market presence across London's Architecture & Design community.
• Generate specifications and drive sales across workplace, hospitality, education, healthcare, retail and commercial projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, installers and key project stakeholders.
• Influence product selection from initial concept through to order.
• Identify, develop and convert specification-led sales opportunities.
• Create and implement strategic territory plans to grow market share.
• Deliver CPDs, product presentations, showroom meetings and design consultations.
• Represent the brand at industry events, product launches and networking activities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting and sales forecasts.
• Work closely with internal teams to support successful project delivery.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

We are looking for someone based within a reasonable commuting distance of Central London who is comfortable working in a field-based sales role.

Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience in specification or commercial sales within flooring, interior finishes, furniture, textiles, wallcoverings, acoustics or a related interior products sector.
• An established network of contacts across London's architecture, interior design, Design & Build and Fit-Out communities.
• Experience promoting premium, design-led products within specification-driven markets.
• A successful track record of generating new business, developing pipelines and converting opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive business development approach.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• A genuine passion for design and premium interior products.
• Professionalism, credibility and commercial maturity.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You may already be working in specification sales, or have experience in internal sales, showroom sales, specification support or project coordination within a relevant interiors business and be ready to take the next step into a field-based sales role.
