KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant to work for this fabulous company in Newcastle. Your duties will be as follows:

• Leading the day-to-day operation of the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Ensuring supplier’s invoices/credits are processed in an accurate and timely manner
• Making sure invoices are correctly matched to purchase orders, receipted goods and coded correctly
• Responsible for the supplier/expense payment runs for both UK and foreign suppliers
• Ensuring suppliers are paid on a timely basis and remittances sent out in a timely manner
• Raising sales invoices for external and internal customers
• Reconciling debtor’s ledger and ensuring that payments are received on time
• Dealing with supplier and customer invoice queries in the company and externally
• Reviewing invoice queries daily and maintaining at target levels set
• Making sure supplier statement reconciliations are completed quickly and efficiently
• Reconciling and distributing customer statements
• Updating and maintaining daily cash flow forecast on occasions when required
• Assisting the FC with the preparation of the monthly short term cash flow forecast
• Maintaining the GRNI account ledger ensuring the balance is materially correct at month end
• Leading monthly creditor reviews and weekly debtor reviews and raising any concerns to FC
• Assisting with the month end process; control account reconciliations, KPI Trackers
• Assisting the FC with EC sales/intrastat returns and government grant claims
• Responsible for ensuring that all credit card expenditure is recorded

You will have worked in a similar role and have excellent sales and purchase ledger experience. Strong Excel is essential.
