Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects the team is looking for additional support.

Description

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments.
• Proactively contact clients to arrange payment plans or resolve issues.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate records are kept.
• Prepare and distribute statements of accounts to clients.
• Handle queries related to invoices and payments efficiently.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with credit policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reports on outstanding debts and collections progress.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar role in Accounting & Finance.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
• Confidence in communicating with clients to resolve payment issues.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £30,000 to £33,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position in Southampton.
