Site Manager – West Midlands We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established main contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their West Midlands team, working on new-build residential projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in new-build housing, ideally with proven experience delivering social and affordable housing schemes. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the development, ensuring projects are completed safely, to programme and to a high standard. You will work closely with the project, design and technical teams, subcontractors, consultants and local authorities to ensure the smooth delivery of the scheme. Key Requirements * Proven experience delivering new-build residential projects * Strong social / affordable housing experience * Good technical knowledge and ability to support the design team * Experience managing highways and utilities agreements through to adoption * Strong understanding of programming, build sequencing and site logistics * Experience with both traditional construction and timber frame * Good knowledge of current Building Regulations, NHBC and LABC standards * Strong subcontractor and consultant management skills * Good man-management and communication skills * Highly organised with excellent prioritisation and time-management skills * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards * Excellent approach to health & safety and general compliance * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Qualifications & Tickets * CSCS Card * SMSTS * First Aid
