Oracle HFM Project / Programme Manager

Location: Chertsey, Surrey (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 6 month initial Contract Opportunity

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HFM Project / Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of finance systems projects and strategic change initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving complex programmes from planning through to deployment, ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and project controls.

This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused Programme Manager with experience in Oracle HFM, Hyperion, or Enterprise Performance Management environments, who thrives in fast-paced enterprise organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle HFM and finance systems projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, releases, enhancements, and business change initiatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
• Own programme governance, RAID management, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Utilise Azure DevOps to manage epics, features, user stories, deliverables, and project progress.
• Coordinate testing, release management, cutover activities, and hypercare support.
• Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
• Engage with business leaders, finance stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and controls.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Programme Manager, Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Senior PMO Lead.
• Strong background delivering Oracle HFM, Hyperion, EPM, or related finance system projects.
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for project and programme management.
• Expertise in project governance, portfolio management, RAID management, and delivery reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior business and technology leaders.
• Experience managing system implementations, upgrades, migrations, releases, and production deployments.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Finance Transformation programmes.
• Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementations.
• Financial Consolidation and Reporting systems.
• Experience working within large-scale corporate or enterprise environments.
• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
