Your Responsibilities

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Establish a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Promote confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 1.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A flexible, creative and enthusiastic approach.
• A strong commitment to pupil progress and achievement.
