Basildon Salary - Negotiable DOE- £55k-£60K Monday - Friday days Your new role: Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design, manufacturing, build and installation of automated machinery working in several industries. With a large order book and continuous projects for the next 3-6 years, this is an excellent time to join an ever-expanding business. The business now has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering/Manufacturing Project Manager with experience managing full project life cycles to join their expanding Projects team. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Managing engineering projects throughout the business, from large production lines to smaller table-top units. Ensuring projects achieve agreed quality, delivery and cost objectives. Identifying, managing and resolving key project risks and issues. Maintaining a clear understanding of project scope and managing the commercial impact of changes. Coordinating with internal engineering and manufacturing departments to keep projects progressing smoothly. Ensuring technical information is communicated accurately between departmentsThis is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required. Skills & Experience required: Previous Project Management experience within a technical or engineering environment. Engineering degree or similar i.e. HND/HNC Experience managing technically complex projects, ideally with longer project life cycles of 2+ years. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. The ability to build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships. Confidence working across engineering departments and directly with shop-floor teams. A strong customer-focused approach.
