Description

• Monitor and manage outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment from customers.
• Communicate with clients to resolve payment queries or disputes effectively.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer accounts and transactions.
• Prepare and send out regular statements and reminders to clients.
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform credit checks on new customers and assess credit limits.
• Provide regular reports on debtor balances and cash flow forecasts.
• Support the team in improving credit control processes and policies.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Confidence in managing customer relationships and resolving disputes.
