About the Opportunity

G-Tech Talent is working with an established and successful business within the automotive industry that is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and commercially driven Sales Advisor to join its busy sales team in Bolsover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, developing business relationships and converting sales opportunities into orders.

The position offers a varied mix of inbound sales, outbound business development, account management and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The Role

As a Sales Advisor, you'll play an important role in generating new business, retaining existing customers and ensuring every sales opportunity is maximised.

You'll be responsible for handling incoming enquiries, preparing quotations, converting orders and proactively contacting existing and prospective trade customers to generate additional revenue.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound sales enquiries via telephone, email and customer visits.
• Identifying customer requirements and recommending the correct automotive products.
• Preparing accurate quotations and converting enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Proactively following up on outstanding quotations to maximise sales conversions.
• Conducting outbound sales calls to existing, lapsed and prospective customers.
• Re-engaging dormant accounts and identifying opportunities to increase customer spending.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade customers.
• Identifying new business opportunities through structured prospecting and customer follow-up.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handling customer queries relating to pricing, availability and deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate customer records, sales activity and pipeline information.
• Working closely with internal sales, warehouse and operations teams to deliver excellent customer service.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who is confident, organised, commercially aware and genuinely enjoys sales.

Ideally, you'll offer:

• Previous experience in telesales, internal sales, sales administration or a customer-facing sales environment.
• Excellent telephone communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to outbound calling and developing new business.
• The ability to identify opportunities, overcome objections and close sales.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence working in a busy, fast-paced sales office.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn internal sales and order management systems.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Experience within the automotive, automotive parts, distribution or trade sales sectors would be advantageous, although not essential.

We're equally interested in candidates who demonstrate strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to develop a career in sales.
