Warehouse Operations & Returns Operative Location: Hawarden Pay: £16.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Contract: Temp-to-perm Start: Immediate About the role Hexagon Recruitment is working with a growing company to find an experienced warehouse operative to run its returns and goods-in/out operation. You’ll make sure returned units are logged, assessed, processed and, where necessary, safely scrapped, with stock records that are accurate and up to date. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of variety, on a fast-paced site where your attention to detail makes a real difference. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, so for the right person there’s a clear route to a permanent position with a business that’s growing. What you’ll be doing  Handling goods in and goods out, including customer returns  Inspecting faulty units, identifying faults and recording them accurately  Scrapping faulty goods safely and in line with company procedures  Updating the CRM and producing inventory reports  Carrying out stock control and investigating discrepancies  Supporting waste management and correct handling of materials  Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe  Working closely with the wider team to keep daily operations running smoothly What you’ll need  2 to 3 years’ warehouse experience, ideally in goods in/goods out  Experience in stock control, inventory or returns processing  Confident IT skills and comfortable learning new systems  A sharp eye for detail and accurate record-keeping  Good physical fitness for hands-on warehouse work  A proactive, problem-solving approach  The ability to work independently and as part of a team Why join?  £16.00 per hour with consistent weekday hours and no weekends  Temp-to-perm, with a route to a permanent role  Scope to develop your inventory and operations skills  A supportive, hard-working team  Immediate start available Call Hexagon Recruitment on (01244) (phone number removed) or send your CV to (url removed) to register your interest
