Food Production Operative

• Location: Ripon, On site
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm (40 hour working week)
• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour - works out circa £26,500 annual salary
• Contract: Temporary to start with (with potential ongoing permanent opportunities)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Food Production Operatives to join a busy and growing food manufacturing business in Ripon.

This is a hands-on role working within a chilled production environment, helping to prepare, present and package fresh poultry products ready for dispatch.

With continued investment in new production lines and future growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business expanding its workforce.

Duties Include

• Working on a modern poultry production line.
• Handling fresh chicken products safely and hygienically.
• Trimming, grading and presenting products to company standards.
• Packaging and labelling finished products.
• Carrying out quality checks.
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
