Health and Safety Manager Location: Based near Milan, Italy Eligibility: Must hold a valid EU passport The Opportunity Join a specialist contractor delivering civil engineering, reinforced concrete frame and structural alteration projects. This is a hands-on role for a proactive Health and Safety Manager who enjoys working closely with site teams to promote safe working practices, improve standards and resolve issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities: * Visit each assigned site weekly and provide clear reports on your findings. * Work with site teams to resolve health and safety issues on the spot wherever possible, escalating outstanding matters through the appropriate channels. * Liaise with client health and safety teams and support the timely close-out of inspection actions. * Work alongside site managers and supervisors to maintain safe working practices and good housekeeping. * Review RAMS and quality documentation before work begins. * Draft RAMS and risk assessments as required. * Manage health and safety on site and oversee the site health and safety team. * Use Procore to manage safety and quality tasks. * Prepare weekly reports for the SHEQ Manager or Director.
