Plant Fitter / Service Engineer

Scotland | Door-to-Door Pay | £22-£24 per Hour | Company Van Provided

We're working with a well-established business within the crushing and screening sector that is looking to add an experienced Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to its growing service team.

This is a field-based role covering customer sites across Scotland, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and breakdown repairs on crushers and screeners. You'll join a close-knit team of six service engineers, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair crushers and screeners at customer sites
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Attend breakdown call-outs across Scotland
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections
• Work closely with the service team to ensure downtime is minimised
• Complete service documentation using a company tablet
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on customer sites

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working on crushers, screeners, heavy plant or similar equipment
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent customer-facing skills
