Head of Content & Creative

Location: Hybrid (Nottingham with flexible remote working)

Salary: Up to £65,000

As a newly created leadership role, you will bring strategic focus to an established in-house team, helping transform complex topics into compelling stories that drive engagement, build trust and support fundraising growth.

Following a period of transformation, they are investing in a more coordinated approach to audience engagement, fundraising and brand communication. With an established creative function already in place, they are now seeking a senior content leader to define strategy, elevate storytelling and create greater impact through content.

The Role

• Develop and own the global content and creative strategy across multiple markets and audiences.
• Lead the creation of compelling, audience-focused storytelling that supports engagement, awareness and fundraising objectives.
• Set the strategic direction for content across digital and offline channels.
• Guide messaging across social media, email, SMS, WhatsApp and wider campaign activity.
• Collaborate with senior marketing and fundraising stakeholders to align content with organisational priorities.
• Use audience insight and performance data to inform content planning and creative decisions.
• Lead, mentor and develop an established content and creative team.
• Ensure brand consistency while adapting communications for different audiences and regional needs.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience developing and delivering content strategy at a senior level.
• A background in content, creative, brand or storytelling leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing content or creative teams.
• Experience turning complex subjects into clear, engaging and impactful narratives.
• Strong understanding of audience insight and how it can shape content and campaign strategy.
• Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across different functions and locations.
• Excellent editorial judgement with a focus on measurable outcomes and performance.
• Experience operating across multi-channel content environments including social, digital and offline communications.
