A well-established construction and property services contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a façade remediation project in York, valued at approximately £1 million. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with experience delivering external envelope, cladding, façade remediation, fire safety, or refurbishment projects. You will take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing all daily site activities from mobilisation through to completion Coordinating subcontractors, labour and material deliveries Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications and quality standards Maintaining site health & safety and ensuring full compliance with company procedures Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks and progress meetings Managing client, consultant and stakeholder relationships on site Monitoring programme performance and addressing any delivery issues proactively Maintaining site records, reports and project documentation Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction or refurbishment Experience delivering façade, cladding, external envelope or remediation projects Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site management procedures SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications Excellent communication and subcontractor management skills Ability to drive programme and maintain high quality standards Package Competitive salary Car allowance/company vehicle Pension scheme Ongoing professional development Opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of work What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
