If you have a background in support work, youth mentoring, sports coaching, classroom assistance, or academic tutoring, your real-world communication skills are exactly what local schools need to keep classrooms running smoothly when regular staff are away.

• Lead pre-planned lessons efficiently across various subjects during teacher absences.
• Deliver engaging educational content while keeping students focused and on-task.
• Maintain strong, positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
• Support student learning and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Complete accurate attendance registers and report back to core teaching staff.

• Proven prior experience working directly with children or young people.
• High level of confidence in whole-class management and communication.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
