An experienced customer-focused professional responsible for managing customer enquiries, quotations, and orders from initial receipt through to delivery. Acting as a key link between customers and internal departments, the role ensures a high standard of service, accurate order processing, and effective communication throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Process customer orders efficiently and maintain accurate records within company systems.
• Prepare and manage quotations, ensuring customer requirements are understood and fulfilled.
• Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service at all times.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Raise purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to support operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records relating to customer communications and order activity.
• Produce reports relating to customer orders, service levels, and operational performance as required.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety, and company procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within customer service, sales support, account management, or order processing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Experience using internal systems to manage orders, quotations, and customer records.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and customer management systems.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple departments to achieve customer satisfaction.
