My client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company. They are currently involved in the construction of one of the two major railway stations in London for HS2. They are currently recruiting for a Section Manager (Agent) to manage major roadworks, structures and utility diversions on this landmark project. Duties Ensuring a safe, healthy, environmentally sound delivery of all works entrusted. * Day-to-day management of package, leading a team of two APMs * Working with the package design management team and the subcontractor to deliver the subcontract design portion of the works. * Working with the package QS to issue communications to the subcontractor to manage the contract Managing package of works, tracking subcontractors' deliverables o Managing Activity Readiness certification * Documentation management through approval process and liaison with BBVS wider team * Reviewing subcontractors' performance, proposing improvement opportunities * Liaising between subcontractor to resolve escalated clashes in day-to-day management * Ensure progress of works entrusted is accurately reported and documented. * Ensure numbers of subcontractor's operatives and plant active and inactive on site is accurately reported and documented.
