REED Business Support in Bath is working in conjunction with a business with offices throughout the UK in their search for a Customer Service Advisor based locally in Wiltshire.

Salary: £26,436.80 pro rata

Duration: 11 month contract
Location: Wiltshire
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm (M-F)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team. You'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders accurately and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll also help train and mentor new colleagues while contributing to continuous service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone and other communication channels.
• Process customer orders accurately and within agreed service levels.
• Resolve customer issues efficiently, escalating where necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer records and order information.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Support colleagues across multiple business functions as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and operational processes.
• Coach and support new team members through training and knowledge sharing.

About You

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within a busy office or contact centre environment.
• Confident handling enquiries by telephone and email.
• Experience processing orders or administrative transactions.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and business software.
• A positive team player with a customer-first approach.
