Financial Controller / Finance Manager Knaresborough | £50,000 - £55,000 | Full-Time, Permanent 25 days holiday plus bank holidays | Pension scheme | Death in Service | Free on-site parking and more Unity Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller / Finance Manager to join a successful and growing organisation based in Knaresborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of an established finance function while playing a key role in supporting future growth. Reporting into senior leadership, you'll be responsible for financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting and delivering valuable commercial insight to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain robust controls, drive continuous improvement and develop a small finance team. This role would suit a hands-on individual who enjoys balancing the detail of day-to-day finance with a broader commercial perspective. Key Responsibilities * Managing the day-to-day finance function * Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting * Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management * Maintaining strong financial controls and reconciliations * Supporting year-end accounts, audits and statutory reporting * Developing KPI reporting and management information * Identifying process improvements and automation opportunities * Mentoring and supporting junior finance team members * Partnering with senior stakeholders to support business performance and growth About You * ACCA or CIMA or equivalent qualified * Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar role * Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience * Excellent financial control and reconciliation skills * Advanced Excel and accounting systems knowledge * Experience leading, mentoring or developing team members * Able to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact, take ownership and help shape the future of a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
